With 28 Division B teams and 290+ competitors, State Science Olympiad was held at UNL East Campus in Lincoln on Saturday...
With 28 Division B teams and 290+ competitors, State Science Olympiad was held at UNL East Campus in Lincoln on Saturday. The Medicine Valley team came in as first year competitors, but left as seasoned competitors. Leaving with memories and even better...some hardware!
All members of the team had a top 10 finish:
10th - Entomology (Laif & Daphnie)
8th - Crime Busters (Allison & Daphnie)
8th - Metric Mastery (Laif & Daphnie)
8th - Rocks & Minerals (Laif & Barrett)
and bringing home a medal! 5th - Circuit Lab (Ambur & Christian)
Members of the team also competed in Trial Events. Not part of our team score, but the Medicine Valley Team did not approach these events lightly, finishing in the Top 10 in all three events our team were a part of! Laif and Barrett brought home a 6th place medal in the Periodic Table testing event as well.

The Medicine Valley Science Olympiad competed at the ESU 16 Regional Competition in Ogallala on Wednesday, April 8th. It was a great day, with each of the three members competing bringing home a medal! Laif and Barrett were 2nd in Rocks & Minerals, while Allison and Barrett placed 3rd in Write It Do It. The team will be traveling to Lincoln this weekend to compete at the State Science Olympiad competition held at UNL East campus. Good luck!! #MVRaiderNation
